I grew up near the ocean, and then lived happily in the very small town of Apalachicola, by the Florida Gulf, a bay and a great river when I started this artistic adventure in clay.  And although I have moved on to the northern place of my birth, the idea of water still figures prominently in my work, as does the earth surrounding it.                                                                                                                                                                                     -Jaime Llewellyn Liang
